Pic 1: Set out to eat fish and chips with the most beautiful backdrop in the world – found this!
(Stadler road. 50m stretch. C3 logged with CoCT. Cape Town Beach Cleanup – Greg contacted)
For the number of volunteers at Big Bay the amount of litter brought off the beach was not that much. That was at 10am. This was just before 5pm, not even 1km away.
Pic 2: Monday 10am. I went down to the beach to see what the latest is and met Pumla, team supervisor and Ronald, team leader with their group cleaning the beach. At least 40 bags full at that point. They arrived to do the beach cleanup at 8am. 19 people 🙂 Thank you ALL! Thank you to anyone else who logged a C3 and to the city for taking action.
Solid waste (Dumping, beaches and street sweeping)
